Grand Union draws together musicians from all over the world who come together to create and perform new work that draws on the cultural and musical background of the performers. The company aims to communicate and share the enjoyment of music from the many traditions that contribute to the culture of modern Europe and to celebrate the energy and creative possibilities of today's multiracial society.

Grand Union produces a wide range of professional 20 piece orchestra shows, small band performances, cross-cultural participatory projects for all ages and abilities and tailor made education programmes.

An orchestra to challenge your perception of orchestras: no other collection of professional musicians have been gathered from such diverse backgrounds and the effect is explosive.
