The Great Little Opera Company offers everyone the chance to experience, appreciate and take part in opera. Projects are designed to offer children, families and students the opportunity to experience and participate through performances, educational projects, participatory events, open days, workshops and multimedia materials.

The company was established in 2001 and its first projects were The Mozart Show 'Kiss & Tell' (based on The Marriage of Figaro) and OPERA: Access all Areas, a participative project for families.

OPERA: Access All Areas Days in Waltham Forest and Barking & Dagenham Autumn A chance for people of all ages to take part in hands-on costume, design, and performance workshops.

JOIKU Autumn onwards A project based on traditional song forms from Scandinavia, involving communities in London and student teachers in Finland. Each workshop event will result in a unique snapshot of the community in song, archived on CD ROM.

OPERA: THE NUTS AND BOLTS CD ROM A CD ROM introducing opera to students and teachers, including project work aimed at encouraging the use of opera in the curriculum.

The Beggar?s Opera, Gay 2003 Performances plus multimedia workshop and CD ROM 8 performers and 5 musicians, all on stage.
